Brand Ambassador

Part-Time Hourly Position

We’re looking for someone to join our hodgepodge team of beer professionals. Brand Ambassadors will help us spread the gospel of Eureka Heights and craft beer while being able to accurately describe how a sunset makes you feel. This is essentially like being an ambassador to a foreign country, only that country is a whole bunch of thirsty people. 

What we’re looking for:

  • At all times showcase an excellent attitude to each individual you encounter.
  • Work promotional events in the community and at the brewery.
  • Work grocery store samplings.
  • Work festivals.
  • Have an understanding of all Eureka Heights beers and be able to describe them in detail to customers.
  • Follow all Eureka Heights rules outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Show up on time.
  • Wear a Eureka Heights shirt.
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to give memorable high fives.
  • Reports directly to the Events Manager.

Specific requirements for the Brand Ambassador are:

  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be organized and demonstrate good time management and people skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, a team player, and have excellent work ethic.
  • Must have a valid TABC server certification.
  • Must be 21 or older to apply.

 

Specific responsibilities with respect to general assistance for the Brand Ambassador are to:

  • Stay up to date and knowledgeable on all company products and trends.
  • Miscellaneous on-site sales matters as directed by management.
  • Miscellaneous distribution activities as directed by management.
  • Miscellaneous production activities as directed by management.

Specific Physical Demands Required:

  • Requires the use and wear of personal protective equipment (PPE) including non-slip shoes, gloves as needed.  
  • Requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, twisting, squatting, pulling, pushing, grasping for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver kegs, popup tents, coolers and other items weighing around 120-150 pounds.

 

Required Work Schedule:

  • Up to 20 hours per week.
  • Weekends including Saturday and Sunday.
  • Evening events during the week.

Sales Representative

Full-Time Salary Position

Have you ever wanted to legitimately tell people that you go to bars and get paid for it? Then we have a job for you. We’re looking for someone to join our ragtag team of sales peeps. We want someone who is interested in helping us grow while continuing to cultivate the craft beer community. Along with day-to-day sales activities we want someone who can back us up during karaoke duets.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of sales experience with On & Off-Premise alcohol sales preferred
  • Possess excellent organizational, planning, and sales skills
  • Love time management as much as beer
  • A real people person
  • Ability quote 30 Rock for a minimum of seven minutes
  • Someone who loves Beer and all things Eureka Heights!

Specific responsibilities with respect to customer accounts (bars, restaurants, retail outlets) and Distribution partners for the Sales Representative are to:

  • Establish themselves with initial customer accounts based on current contacts of Eureka Heights Brew Co.
  • Recruit additional customer accounts
  • Maintain active account contact list
  • Manage all active customer (on-premise and off-premise) accounts by:
    • Maintaining key customer and distribution partner relationships 
    • Working with Distribution sales personnel on account order placements
    • Communicating account beer needs and development 
    • Delivering tap handles with appropriate stickers to match beer ordered
    • Communicate and coordinate with customer accounts regarding upcoming beer releases, special events & promotions
    • Resolve customer and Distribution partner problems effectively and efficiently
    • Ensure company products are displayed to meet company and customer standards 
    • Understand customer’s routines & needs 
    • Establish and expand personal relationships with all personnel at accounts 
  • Plan and attend events at accounts as required.  Potentially on the evenings and weekends.
  • Plan and attend samplings of products at on & off-premise accounts as required.
  • Attend festivals as needed
  • Assist with the development of new brands 
  • Sell lots of Beer!!

Specific responsibilities with respect to general assistance for the Sales Rep are to:

  • Stay up to date and knowledgeable on all company products and industry trends
  • Become proficient in the use of company sales data analytics iDIG and customer management software KARMA
  • Miscellaneous on-site sales matters as directed by management

  • Must have a valid Texas drivers license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver kegs and other items weighing around 120-150 pounds.
  • Be able to do, like, 10 pushups

Specific Physical Demands Required:

  • Requires the use and wear of personal protective equipment (PPE) including non-slip shoes, gloves as needed.  
  • Requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, squatting, pulling, pushing, grasping for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver kegs and other items weighing around 120-150 pounds.
