The Most Fun Activities to Do in Houston, TX – Our Top 10 List
July 25, 2025 6:51 pm Leave your thoughtsYou know that feeling when it’s a weekday night and you’re staring at your phone like it holds the secrets of the universe, desperately scrolling through the same tired “things to do” websites? Yeah, we’ve all been there.
Houston’s got 2.3 million people and somehow everyone’s still asking “so… what do you wanna do tonight?”
The problem isn’t that there’s nothing happening – it’s that most of it is either overpriced, overcrowded, or involves way too much small talk with strangers who definitely don’t share your sense of humor. What if we told you there’s a place where the drinks are strong, the crowd actually gets your jokes, and you can count on something awesome happening every single month?
Now look, we’re not saying Eureka Heights Brewery is the answer to all of Houston’s entertainment woes, but we’re also not not saying that. Every month we throw events that have become the stuff of local legend. The kind of nights that make you cancel your Netflix subscription because real life got way more interesting.
Here are the top 10 must do activities in Houston (and yeah, they all happen to be at our place – funny how that works):

If you want the complete details, exact dates, and all the juicy specifics, head over to our Events page or check out our social media pages.
1. Pinball Tournaments

Space City Pinball League turns the brewery into a competitive battleground with different themed events. You can join pinball wizards and complete beginners alike as they battle it out on our beautiful pinball machines.
2. Free Bingo

If you’ve been looking for what to do in Houston at night for free, join us on Thursdays evenings for some free-to-play Bingo! It’s the perfect excuse to drink responsibly while desperately hoping B-7 finally gets called.
Keep in mind we can’t guarantee protection from the smugness that comes with victory.
3. Laces Out Run Club

Every Thursday at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, our Laces Out Run Club offers four distance options: 2, 3.5, 5, and 8 miles through Heights neighborhood routes. Plus, post-run participants receive $2 off beers for the rest of the evening.
It’s basically a gym membership that ends with beer, which is exactly how exercise should work.
4. Trivia Night

Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM, we ask the important questions like “What’s the capital of Montana?” and “Which Kardashian did what now?” It’s free to play, and we’ve got rotating themes throughout the year because apparently knowing obscure ’90s cartoon facts is a life skill. Winners get Eureka Heights gift cards and bragging rights that’ll last until next week’s trivia.
5. LEGO Party

We team up with Houston Toy Museum to let grown adults build LEGOs in public without judgment. Pick from a bunch of different sets, build your masterpiece while sipping beer, and actually get to take it home. It’s like being a kid again, except now you can afford the fancy sets and nobody’s telling you to clean up.
6. Divine Market

Our periodic Saturday Divine Markets transform the brewery into a local artisan showcase, featuring handmade crafts, local products, and small business vendors. These free-entry markets sometimes include themed elements like Halloween costume contests, because apparently we can’t do anything without making it more fun than it needs to be.
7. Houston Plant Swap

These weekend afternoons by Houston Plant Market are for supporting small local businesses in Houston, Texas. Check out the curated vendor market, swap some plants, or pick out your favorite supplies. Kids and pets welcome.
Sometimes we throw in ridiculous contests like our Annual Chancla Throwing Contest, because apparently plant people also have competitive streaks.
8. Drag Bingo

Last Thursday of every month, Miss Gay America 2024 Dessie Love-Blake hosts bingo with some cheeky commentary. Bring your own dauber (or buy one for two bucks), enjoy the show, and maybe win some prizes.
9. Books and Brews

The last Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:30 PM, our book club tackles diverse literary choices that spark casual discussions over craft beer. Recent picks include titles like “Everyone In This Room Will Someday Be Dead” and “The Island of Sea Women”.
10. Paint & Sip

Together with Andrea Stephania, we host occasional Paint & Sip events for our community. Whether you’re channeling your inner artist or just trying not to get paint in your beer, these sessions prove that artistic talent is optional but enthusiasm is mandatory. Perfect for date nights or friend groups who enjoy creative disasters.
